Visit Madunagala for a real rural experience
Madungala is a samaale village located on the edge of the southern province, bordering the Sabaragamuwa province. We will meet you at Padalangala junction at 03.00 pm and accompany you on our tour. Your first stop will be to visit the local chena people who have been cultivating the land in the area for years. You will get to see their lifestyle and enjoy delicious village snacks.
Afterward, we will take you to the bungalow where we have arranged your overnight stay. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy a hot water bath at the nearby Madunagala Hot Water Springs. The next morning, after breakfast, we will bring you to a rural temple with stone caves and a stunning viewpoint. We have organized a short meditation session for you at the temple. Finally, we will take you back to the same point where we picked you up on the previous day.
