Day 01

Itenerary

Upon arrival, you will be transferred directly to Galle. Once you have checked into a hotel located on the beachfront, you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure, enjoying a relaxing time.

Day 02

Explore the historic Galle fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a unique charm and captivating allure.

Day 03

Travel from Galle to Tissamaharama, where you will check in to your hotel. Later in the evening, you can explore the sacred city of Kataragama and witness the daily traditional rituals taking place.

Day 04

Discover the rich historical significance of Magama kingdom, home to numerous remnants of its glorious past. In late afternoon you can enjoy a jeep safari in Yala National Park. 

Day 05

Begin your journey from Tissamaharama and make your way to Ella. Once you have checked in at the hotel in Ella, take some time to explore the beautiful surroundings by going for a leisurely walk to the renowned Nine Arched Bridge, an ancient marvel that is known worldwide.

Day 06

Experience a scenic train journey from Ella to Nanu Oya, passing through lush and misty hills, Then you will be transferred to Nuwara Eliya for your overnight accommodation arrangement.

Day 07

Today is the day of exploring the ancient values of Ceylon Tea.  You will visit Oliphant Tea Estate which lies between Ramboda and Nuwara Eliya in the Nuwara Eliya District. It holds significance as the historical site where the initial 30 tea plants from China were cultivated in Sri Lanka.

Day 08

You will transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. After you have checked into your hotel in Kandy, you will have the opportunity to visit the Tooth Relic Temple and enjoy a traditional cultural show in the evening.

Day 09

Following breakfast, you will be transferred from Kandy to Dambulla. Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel in Dambulla, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient rock cave temple, showcasing a variety of ancient arts and statues. 

Day 10

Following breakfast, you will be transported from Dambulla to Polonnaruwa to tour the ancient Polonnaruwa kingdom and delve into its historical significance dating back to the 1st century.

Day 11

Visit the ancient Sigiriya kingdom, renowned for its historical wonders, awaits your visit. Constructed in the 5th century, Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, stands tall at 200 meters above a lush plain, with its flat peak gently sloping.

Day 12

Transfer from Dambulla to Anuradhapura, the oldest recorded kingdom. Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel in Anuradhapura, you will have the opportunity to discover various ancient landmarks within the Ancient Anuradhapura kingdom.

Day 13

Begin your day by delving deeper into the rich historical significance of the area in the morning, and then proceed to Chilaw for a serene beach retreat to conclude your tour.
